Aeonium ‘Zwartkop’ (Black Rose Sedum)
Garden Architecture. This plant qualifies as such: Acanthus mollis ‘Tasmanian Angel.’
Preferring shelter from the afternoon sun, and moist soil, this is a candidate for parts of the garden that are sometimes hard to landscape: wet and shady, with morning sunlight. The large, bold leaves are variegated and deeply scalloped, producing flower spikes in spring up to 4’ tall in clear coral-pink. And.…it’s deer proof.
